This Privacy Policy explains how BeNow collects, protects and uses user information across BeNow Services.

I. What data do we collect?

When BeNow provides Services, it may collect, store and use the following information:

  • Account Information: data you provide when signing up or updating your account (contact address, telephone, email, username). If you log in through a third‑party account we collect authorized data from that account. You may also provide gender, birthday and location.
  • Device Information: IP address, hardware info, system information and settings, signal strength, network type, browser and device type, and device identifiers (used for abuse detection and debugging).
  • Contact Information: if you grant access to your contacts for features like invites, those contacts may be stored on BeNow servers.
  • User‑generated content: comments, images, photos and other content you upload or share on the platform.
  • Payment Information: billing address and payment method details (name, identification, bank or card details), stored value and consumption records, and virtual property info.
  • Fraud Prevention Information: signals used to detect and prevent fraud (eg. device trust score).
  • Usage Information: logs of actions you take (sharing, editing, viewing, creating or moving files), browsing/search history, product interaction, timestamps, in‑product consumption, crash and diagnostic data.
  • Location Information: geographic location collected (depends on device settings).
  • Government ID Information: in certain jurisdictions, a government‑issued ID may be requested where required by law or for services like credit extension or reservation management.
  • Clipboard information: temporarily accessed to support quick copy/paste; used once and not stored.
  • Installed Application Information: via third‑party SDKs we may obtain host app package name, version and current process name for stability and risk control.
  • Other Information: any additional information you voluntarily provide.

II. How do we collect your data?

BeNow collects most information directly from you. We also collect or receive data when you:

  • Register or place orders for privileged services.
  • Use features that require device permissions (microphone, camera, storage, album access, precise location, clipboard etc.).
  • Complete surveys, provide feedback, or contact support.
  • Use the Services where cookies or similar technologies are active.

We may also receive data indirectly from:

  • Other individuals (for example, someone invites you to use BeNow).
  • Your direction (logging in via Google, Facebook, etc.).
  • BeNow partners for validation, security and fraud prevention.

III. How will we use your data?

We collect personal information to:

  • Provide and improve Services (verification, upgrades, synchronization, advertising where applicable).
  • Authenticate users and support account retrieval.
  • Archive and backup data, provide customer support, and protect security to prevent fraud.
  • Provide requested features and comply with legal obligations (including moderating UGC for prohibited content).

We may share personal information with:

  • Service Providers acting on our behalf (obligated to follow this policy and delete or return data after their task completes).
  • Partners for services such as fraud checks and payment processing (partners are required to protect your data).
  • Others at your direction or when disclosure is necessary for national security, law enforcement, or to protect our operations and users (including mergers or reorganizations).

IV. How do we store and protect your data?

Your personal information is stored securely in Singapore. Retention periods follow legal requirements (eg. commercial and tax retention rules); after expiry we routinely delete data unless needed for contract performance or legitimate interests.

We use industry‑standard protection measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, damage or loss. However, the Internet is not absolutely safe — avoid sending sensitive personal data via unencrypted messaging or email. Use strong passwords and safeguard access to your account.

In the event of a personal information security incident, we will inform affected users in a timely manner in accordance with applicable laws, describing impacts, remediation and suggested steps you can take.

If we discontinue a product or service we will notify users and delete or anonymize personal information within 90 days unless otherwise required by law.

V. The device permissions we may request

Permissions are disabled by default and activated only with your explicit authorization for specific features. Even if previously granted, we do not collect sensitive data unless the feature requiring it is in use. Third‑party SDKs or H5/mini programs may also request permissions.

VI. Marketing

BeNow may send marketing information about our Services and partners if you opt in. You can opt out anytime. To stop marketing communications, contact: benowservices@outlook.com.

VII. What are your data protection rights?

  • Right of Access: confirm whether we process your personal data and obtain access to it.
  • Right to Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure: request deletion of personal data without undue delay.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: ask for restriction while verification is ongoing.
  • Right to Data Portability: receive personal information in a structured, machine‑readable format and transmit it to a third party when processing is based on consent or contract and automated.
  • Right to Object: object to processing for legitimate interests or public interest grounds.

Users can query or correct profile and authorization info in the personal center. For account withdrawal that involves high‑value items (memberships, game items) we may require a desensitized ID to verify security; this information is used only for verification and kept confidential.

VIII. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience (keep you signed in, understand how you use Services, and perform analytics). A mix of first‑party and third‑party cookies may be used.

Advertising: cookies may collect visit data and device info; limited aspects may be shared with advertising partners to deliver personalized ads. Cookie opt‑outs are browser and device specific and may not affect mobile apps; follow platform instructions to opt out of personalized ads on mobile.

IX. Third‑party SDKs

We use third‑party SDKs for services and stability. These SDKs may have their own cookies and practices not controlled by BeNow. We evaluate third‑party SDKs for legality and necessity before integration and update the SDK list when needed. Check third parties’ own privacy terms for details.

X. Privacy policy for minors

BeNow does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or the local age of majority). Minors should not provide personal information. If we learn we have collected data from a minor we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have data about a minor please contact: benowservices@outlook.com.

XI. Do not sell your personal information

Under the CCPA, BeNow will not sell your personal information. We retain, use or disclose personal information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as permitted under applicable law.

XII. Transfer of personal information across borders

To provide global Services your personal information may be transferred to or accessed by entities worldwide. We comply with applicable laws and use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions where relevant for transfers from the EEA/UK/Switzerland.
